The blockbuster “Twisters” received the Film Award during the ACM Honors in Nashville. The movie’s soundtrack is the first to solely feature original country music and reach the top ten on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart in more than thirteen years. The 2024 summer blockbuster, from Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., and Amblin Entertainment, was directed by Oscar nominee Lee Isaac Chung and stars Daisy Edgar Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos. Kevin Weaver, Brandon Davis, Ian Cripps and Joseph Khoury, who all served as producers for the soundtrack, accepted the award.

Luke Combs was surprised on the red carpet with a 3x-platinum plaque for “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” from the Twisters soundtrack. One of the most-played songs of 2024, the song reached number one, becoming Luke’s eighteenth chart topper. The hit was also nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media earlier this year at the Grammy’s.
