Dustin Lynch is preparing to release his seventh studio album, Clean Slate, on October 30 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.
The 12-track collection includes “Made In A Bottle,” “Easy To Love,” and the title track, along with collaborations featuring Ashley Cooke and MC4D.

Dustin Lynch has teamed up with Ashley Cooke for “How You Been,” an up-tempo duet released October 1, 2026.
The song follows two people reconnecting after time apart. What starts as a casual phone call quickly brings back memories of a summer romance, including their first kiss on a Ferris wheel and time spent together in Myrtle Beach.
Lynch describes the song as a “chapter two” to his four-times Platinum hit “Thinking ’Bout You,” which featured MacKenzie Porter.
“To me, it feels like chapter two of ‘Thinking ’Bout You.’ It’s that idea of reconnecting with somebody from your past and realizing those memories might still mean something to both of you,” Lynch shares.
The duet features Lynch and Cooke singing opposite sides of the conversation, accompanied by a driving, full-band arrangement.
Cooke says she was immediately interested when Lynch approached her about recording the song.
“The second I heard this song, I was beyond excited Dustin asked me to be a part of it,” Cooke shares.
She also praised the song's lyrics, describing the story as fun and flirtatious, with a clever double meaning.
“How You Been” appears as the fifth track on Clean Slate and offers another preview of the album before its October 30 release.

Clean Slate finds Dustin Lynch reflecting on his experiences and looking toward what comes next.
Across its 12 tracks, the album explores different sides of relationships, including new love, heartbreak, second chances, and connections that are difficult to leave behind.
“There’s a lot of life on this record,” shares Lynch. “Falling for somebody, missing somebody, looking back at things you might do differently now, going out and having a damn good time, and figuring out what matters when everything else gets quiet.”
The singer says he wanted the album to reflect where he is today while staying true to the music his fans know him for.
Dustin Lynch Releases ‘Made In A Bottle’
Dustin Lynch released “Made In A Bottle” on September 4, 2026, as an early preview of Clean Slate.
The song was written by Jesse Frasure, Mark Holman, and Geoff Warburton and produced by Ross Copperman.
“Made In A Bottle” is a honky-tonk song built around a full band and live instrumentation. The lyrics follow Lynch from bar to bar as he discovers that no drink is strong enough to erase the memory of someone he lost.
Lynch had already been performing the song live before its official release.
“We started playing ‘Made In A Bottle’ live this summer and the reaction was immediate,” Lynch shares. “I love the energy of it and the rhythmic pocket in that chorus.”
He also explained that the production was designed to capture the energy of his live performances, with real musicians and instruments rather than an emphasis on studio effects.
“Made In A Bottle” serves as the opening track on Clean Slate.
Dustin Lynch Releases ‘Setlist Staples – 10 #1’s’
The announcement of Clean Slate followed the August 28 release of Lynch’s Setlist Staples – 10 #1’s.
The collection brings together all 10 of Lynch’s country radio chart-toppers, highlighting songs that have become regular parts of his live performances.
