The Ferdinand Folk Festival returns to southern Indiana on Saturday, September 19, 2026, for its 16th annual event.

Held at 18th Street Park in Ferdinand, Indiana, the free festival brings together live music, arts, family activities, environmental education, and more. The 2026 Main Stage lineup features six local, regional, and national acts, with The Last Revel returning as this year's headliner.

The Last Revel

The Last Revel returns to headline the Ferdinand Folk Festival after previously headlining the event in 2022.

The Minneapolis-based Americana and indie-folk group features guitarist Lee Henke, banjoist Ryan Acker, and fiddler Vinnie Donatelle. The band formed in 2011 and reunited following a hiatus that began in 2019. Their reunion album, Dovetail, was released in 2023, followed by Gone for Good.

John Németh and the Blue Dreamers

John Németh and the Blue Dreamers will bring blues to the 2026 festival. Németh has earned multiple Blues Music Award and Blues Blast Music Award nominations, including four consecutive nominations for the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award.

Candi Jenkins

Kentucky singer-songwriter Candi Jenkins blends traditional country music with modern influences. The Fayette County native's songs include "Wild Blue" and "God Don't Care."

Valley Flower

Austin, Texas-based Valley Flower is a five-piece string band combining Appalachian bluegrass with country, folk, and jam influences. The band's members have musical roots stretching through Virginia, North Carolina, Minnesota, and Texas.

March to August

March to August returns to Ferdinand after appearing at the festival in 2023. The Ozark Mountains duo of Derrick and Jodi Mears combines Americana, alt-country, and bluegrass with an emphasis on storytelling and acoustic instrumentation.

Hayley Payne

Western Kentucky native Hayley Payne will make her third Ferdinand Folk Festival appearance and her first since 2016.

Payne is a Country Music Association member and was a finalist in the 2022 International Songwriting Competition.
