Garth Brooks is returning to arenas, and the first stop will be in Indianapolis.

Brooks has announced the Blame It All On My Roots Tour, a new 2026 arena tour that will begin with two shows at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The concerts are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, and Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026.

The tour marks Brooks’ return to the arena format that helped define his 1990s touring run. It will also bring back the Drum Pod, the stage feature closely tied to his 1996 tour and the live shows that helped lead to his blockbuster concert album Double Live.

“Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box,” Brooks said in the announcement. “The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal.”

Both concerts will feature reserved seating. The shows will include both end-stage and in-the-round seating, according to the tour announcement.

Tickets for the Indianapolis shows go on sale Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster.

All tickets are priced at $154, which includes a $140 ticket price, a $4 facility fee and a $10 service charge, plus applicable taxes.

There will be no presales or advance box office sales. All tickets will go on sale at the same time, and there is an eight-ticket limit per purchase.

Fans planning to buy tickets should sign in to their Ticketmaster account, or create one ahead of time, before the on-sale begins.

The Blame It All On My Roots Tour is Garth Brooks’ return to full-scale arena touring.

The announcement comes 30 years after Brooks launched the 1996 tour that became one of the biggest concert runs of his career. That tour helped shape his live reputation and produced recordings that became part of Double Live, which has been certified 25 million by the RIAA.

For the 2026 tour, Brooks is bringing the Drum Pod back to the stage and returning to the arena setup that put fans closer to the show than a stadium setting allows.
