Jon Pardi’s Honkytonk Hollywood tour with special guest Kassi Ashton made its way to the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, on Saturday, July 27, 2025. With a setlist that spanned his entire career, the singer proved why he's one of country music’s most entertaining headliners.
With a little pyro and a whole lot of country, the show opened with “Honkytonk Hollywood,” the title track from his latest album. “Write You A Song” - a throwback that was recently added to the tour setlist - followed. The crowd came ready to sing along to favorites like “Tequila Does” and “Up All Night,” which Jon cleverly blended with a chorus of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.”
After wrapping up fan-favorite “Mr. Saturday Night,” Jon brought a fan up onstage with a big surprise in store. His girlfriend in the audience had no idea he was about to propose. The crowd went wild as Jon congratulated the newly engaged couple, then rolled right into “Your Heart or Mine.”
Fans had the chance to hear his current single climbing the charts, “Friday Night Heartbreaker.” Alongside radio staples like “Last Night Lonely,” “She Ain’t In It,” and “Ain’t Always the Cowboy,” the Grand Ole Opry star treated the crowd to album cuts including “All Time High,” “Hard Knocks,” “Cowboy Hat,” and the emotional “Starlight.”
Jon took the lead on “Beer Can’t Fix” before handing the reigns to guitarist Terry Lee Palmer who broke out into “Crazy Train” to remember the legendary Ozzy Osbourne.
His 2019 hit “Heartache Medication” received one of the largest responses of the night, the crowd singing louder than the band at times. The momentum continued with “Dirt On My Boots,” one of the best-selling songs in his hit-filled catalog. In fact, Jon Pardi has sold over 30 million singles, making him one of the top-selling artists of the past decade.
The last portion of the show was stacked with hits - the crowd erupted at the beginning notes of “Night Shift.” Jon indulged in a fan request, singing the chorus of “That Man” - a deep cut from his debut album. He turned the arena into a dance party with “Heartache on the Dancefloor” before diving into a snippet of “Can’t Turn You Down” - another fan request.
The night concluded with the ultimate singalong as Jon performed “Head Over Boots.” Featured on his 2016 sophomore album California Sunrise, the song marked a turning point in his career. In an industry where trends come and go, Jon has managed to stay consistently at the top. California Sunrise has earned a spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums year-end chart for nine consecutive years now. The record also helped him score his first Academy of Country Music nomination for Album of the Year - a recognition he’s received twice more since.
Jon Pardi has spent over a decade paying his dues in country music and he’s done it one show, one crowd, and one song at a time. From playing the club circuit to getting prime slots as an opening act for artists like Alan Jackson and Dierks Bentley, all of those nights culminated in the arena headliner role Jon Pardi was born for.
