LeAnn Rimes Joins Cast of New ABC Drama “9-1-1 Nashville”

Internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum-selling artist LeAnn Rimes has been cast as a series regular in the highly anticipated new drama 9-1-1: NASHVILLE. Produced in association with Ryan Murphy Television, the series marks the latest installment in the hit 9-1-1 franchise.
Set in Music City, 9-1-1: NASHVILLE explores the high-stakes lives of first responders in one of America’s most iconic cultural hubs. The series will be executive produced and written by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani, with Chris O’Donnell, Brad Buecker, Brad Falchuk, and Angela Bassett also serving as executive producers.
Rimes joins a powerhouse cast that includes Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
Throughout her career, LeAnn Rimes has had acting roles on TV shows including American Dreams, Drop Dead Diva, and Anger Management. She’s also appeared in guest roles on Days of Our Lives, Moesha, and the film Coyote Ugly, and has starred in several Hallmark movies.

With a genre-defying career that spans more than three decades, LeAnn Rimes has sold over 48 million records worldwide, earned two Grammy Awards (including her 2025 win for her contribution to President Jimmy Carter’s final spoken word album), and garnered 15 Top-10 hits across multiple charts. Her enduring hits like “How Do I Live” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” have become anthems across generations.
In addition to her music career, Rimes has made significant strides in television, most recently as a standout coach on The Voice in both the UK and Australia—leading her Australian artist Reuben De Melo to victory—and appearing as a Mega Mentor on NBC’s The Voice Season 27. She also continues to impact culture through her critically praised podcast Wholly Human, which explores emotional wellness and healing.
