Little Big Town's signature four-part harmonies have been part of country Christmas music for years, long before the group released its first full-length holiday album.

The group began releasing Christmas music in the late 2000s and eventually expanded its holiday catalog with The Christmas Record in 2024. The album mixes Christmas standards, country favorites, and original holiday songs, with another original added in 2025.

Below is a complete guide to Little Big Town's Christmas songs and recordings.

The Christmas Record (2024)

Little Big Town released its first full-length holiday album, The Christmas Record, on October 4, 2024.

Produced by Dave Cobb, the original 11-track collection combines six Christmas classics with five new holiday songs.

“We’re so happy to finally share our first-ever Christmas record with the world,” Little Big Town said when the album was released. “We hope this soundtrack will create some new traditions for you this holiday season.”

The group also filmed the music video for “Glow” while touring in Switzerland, using Gstaad and the Swiss Alps as the setting for the holiday video.

In November 2025, Little Big Town expanded the album with a 12th song, the original “The Innkeeper.”

“The Innkeeper” (2025)

Little Big Town added another original song to its Christmas catalog with “The Innkeeper,” released November 14, 2025.

Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook wrote the song with Dean Dillon and Shelby Lynne. Little Big Town produced the recording, which was mixed and engineered by Gena Johnson at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios.

“The Innkeeper” was also added to the digital edition of The Christmas Record, expanding the album from its original 11 tracks to 12.

“Silent Night” with Michael W. Smith (2014)

Little Big Town joined Michael W. Smith for a recording of the Christmas standard “Silent Night” on his 2014 album, The Spirit of Christmas.

The album was released September 30, 2014, and featured several country artists and other guest vocalists. Little Big Town joined Smith specifically for “Silent Night,” adding the group's harmonies to the traditional Christmas song.

“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” (2011)

Years before The Christmas Record, Little Big Town released “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as a standalone holiday recording in 2011.

The group also performed the song during the 2011 CMA Country Christmas special.

“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” later appeared in Little Big Town's holiday catalog again as part of The Christmas Record in 2024.

“Go Tell It on the Mountain” (2008)

One of Little Big Town's earliest Christmas recordings was “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”

The group released its version of the traditional Christmas song in December 2008, making it the earliest Little Big Town holiday recording in this guide.
