Little Big Town has announced their 12th studio album, It’s A Dying Art, arriving August 28, 2026, via MCA.

The project was co-produced by two-time Grammy winner Gena Johnson, known for her work with Jason Isbell, Dolly Parton, and Brandi Carlile, alongside Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild. The album includes collaborations with Ashley Monroe, Jason Isbell, and Kelsea Ballerini.

It’s A Dying Art finds Little Big Town leaning into the sound and spirit of human-made music.

According to the album announcement, the record embraces imperfection, emotion, and lived experience. Shaped by more than 25 years together, the project reflects the trust and artistry that have long defined Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook as a group.

The album includes emotional ballads, intimate storytelling, and collaborations with several artists connected to the band’s musical world.

Little Big Town Releases “Over and Over”

Alongside the album announcement, Little Big Town released a new song from the project titled “Over and Over.”

The track was written by Karen Fairchild, Ashley Ray, Jonnie Simpson, and Madi Yanofsky. Little Big Town debuted “Over and Over” during their set at Stagecoach.

“Over and Over” follows “Hey There Sunshine,” the first offering from It’s A Dying Art.
