The Chicks are taking fans back to one of the most defining eras of their career.

The trio has announced the Taking the Long Way 20th Anniversary Tour, a limited 16-night theater run celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2006 album Taking the Long Way. The tour is billed with the phrase “Still Not Ready to Make Nice,” a nod to the album’s Grammy-winning anthem “Not Ready to Make Nice.”

According to the Associated Press, The Chicks will perform Taking the Long Way in full during the tour, along with additional songs. The run begins Sept. 30 in Detroit and wraps with two nights in Hollywood, California, on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

Taking the Long Way was released in 2006 and became one of the most important albums of The Chicks’ career. The project included “Not Ready to Make Nice” and went on to win five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale June 4 at 10 a.m. local time through Live Nation.

The announcement comes as The Chicks are also set to appear on select dates with Tim McGraw, giving fans multiple chances to see the trio live this year. For more on those shows, read our full guide to Tim McGraw’s upcoming tour dates.
