Carly Pearce is returning to the country and bluegrass sounds that first shaped her with Honest Woman, her fifth studio album and first full-length project since hummingbird. The album will be released on August 28 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and includes 16 songs, with appearances from Riley Green, Dan Tyminski and Molly Tuttle.
Pearce co-produced the project with longtime collaborator Ben West, leaning into the classic country and bluegrass influences that made her want to become a country artist in the first place.
“When I started making Honest Woman, I found myself rediscovering who I am and why I wanted to be a country music singer in the first place,” Pearce said. “This album takes me back to the beginning of my story, where the sounds of classic country and bluegrass music shaped who I am.”
When Does Carly Pearce’s Honest Woman Album Come Out?
Carly Pearce will release Honest Woman on August 28. The album is available to pre-order, pre-add and pre-save now.

What Is Carly Pearce’s Honest Woman Album About?
Honest Woman is centered around truth, growth and returning to the musical foundation that made Pearce want to become a country artist. The project follows her through different stages of self-discovery, faith, heartbreak, humor and confidence.
The title started getting attention during CMA Fest, when the phrase “Honest Woman” appeared around Nashville. It showed up during a busy week for Pearce that included her Carly’s Closet charity pop-up, CMA Artist of the Day appearance, Nissan Stadium performance and other festival events.
Musically, the album leans into traditional country storytelling, bluegrass textures and the kind of emotional detail that has become a major part of Pearce’s catalog.
Songs Carly Pearce Has Released From Honest Woman
“Dream Come True”
Pearce opened this album era with a reflective song about the cost of chasing a dream. The track looks at success from the inside, showing the sacrifices that can come with building the life you once hoped for.
“Church Girl”
“Church Girl” is one of the most personal songs released from the album so far. The song centers on grace, acceptance and the complicated relationship some people have with faith, judgment and identity.
“I see you. Please know, this is a place for love and a place for acceptance,” Pearce shared after teasing the song online. “No matter what you’re going through, or what you’ve overcome, ‘Church Girl’ is for you.”
“If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay” with Riley Green
Pearce teamed up with Riley Green for this tension-filled duet about two people who know they should walk away, but are still tempted to stay. The song became one of the most talked-about moments of the album rollout, especially with its music video.
“I’ve been a fan of Riley’s for so long and knew if we could find the right moment, it would be special,” Pearce said. “‘If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay’ is the perfect moment for us!”
“You Can Have Him”
Released as a birthday surprise for fans, “You Can Have Him” shows Pearce’s lighter, sassier side. Built with traditional country flavor, the song delivers a playful message with a sharp edge.
“This is a fun one I wrote for the girls,” Pearce said. “A lighthearted and playful homage to my Kentucky roots and the traditional songs I grew up listening to on the Grand Ole Opry.”
“She Don’t”
Pearce released “She Don’t” alongside the official album announcement. The song continues the album’s blend of clever storytelling and classic country influence.
