Carter Faith is returning to Cherry Valley with more stories to tell. On July 24, the rising country artist will release Cherry Valley Forever, the deluxe edition of her acclaimed debut album, via Gatsby Records/MCA. The expanded project adds five new songs to the original collection, including “Ain’t Over Me Yet,” and arrives as Carter steps into one of the most visible moments of her career.
Cherry Valley Forever is the deluxe version of Carter Faith’s debut album, Cherry Valley. The expanded project arrives after a major breakthrough year for Carter Faith, whose original album earned an ACM Album of the Year nomination — making it the first debut album nominated in the category in a decade, following Chris Stapleton’s Traveller in 2016.
Carter Faith is also the only female artist nominated in the category and is set to perform at the ACM Awards.
New Songs on Cherry Valley Forever
The deluxe edition features five additional tracks:
“Dead Horse”
“Nothin’ Better To Do”
“Pearl Handled Pistol”
“If A Man’s From Texas”
“Ain’t Over Me Yet”
“Cherry Valley means everything to me,” says Carter. “Every time I have slipped into a dark place (which I have a propensity for), this album has brought me out of it. I know that I wrote the songs but they still carry reminders for me every day when I relisten. Some of the songs have even transformed for me and mean something different now. The world of Cherry Valley has been a safe and freeing place for me and everyone who has worked so hard on this record. I have truly created this album with my best friends, which feels surreal. It feels like it belongs to all of us, because it does.”
