Cledus T. Judd is turning his latest parody controversy into another song.

The country comedian released “Just Another Day in Parodies (Cease & Desist)” on October 2, a new parody inspired by Phil Vassar’s hit “Just Another Day in Paradise.” The release arrives shortly after Judd was directed to remove his previous single and music video, “Meet Her,” from digital platforms.

“Meet Her” was Judd’s take on Ella Langley’s “Be Her.” According to Judd’s team, the song and video reached No. 1 on the Comedy Song and Comedy Music Video charts before Langley’s record label directed him to take them down.

Judd addresses the situation directly in the title of his latest release.

“As always, I'm excited for my fans, new and old, to see the new video for ‘Just Another Day in Parodies (Cease & Desist),’” Judd said. “My daughter and her husband were totally into making this video for me as well, and they did a great job once again. The budget is minimal, but the laughs are abundant. I also got Phil Vassar's blessings on the song so hopefully folks will get to see this for more than a week.”

“Just Another Day in Parodies” is available through StarVista Music, with an accompanying music video also released alongside the song.
