Congrats to all the nominees!” The nomination marked a defining moment in a year that firmly established him as one of country music’s most compelling emerging voices.

CMA Awards Performance

In addition to the nomination, Stephen Wilson Jr. took the CMA Awards stage for a standout performance alongside Shaboozey. The pair delivered “Took A Walk,” a song featured in The Long Walk, the film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1979 novel. The collaboration became one of the night’s most talked-about moments, spotlighting Wilson’s genre-blending approach and growing mainstream recognition. The singer also performed his stirring rendition of “Stand By Me.”
