Diamond-certified country superstar Thomas Rhett will be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 1 p.m., the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced.

The honor comes one day before Thomas Rhett brings his The Soundtrack of Life Tour to Geodis Park in Nashville on July 9 with longtime friend Niall Horan. Thomas Rhett’s induction will mark the 113th star on the Music City Walk of Fame, which recognizes individuals who have helped preserve Nashville’s musical heritage and contributed to the world through song.

“Few artists embody the heart and soul of Music City quite like Thomas Rhett,” said Ellen Pryor, Chair of Music City Inc., the foundation of the NCVC, and Senior Advisor for Civic Engagement at the Frist Art Museum. “From growing up in Nashville to becoming one of country music’s biggest stars, he has remained a passionate ambassador for the city and its songwriting tradition. We are thrilled to welcome Thomas Rhett to the Music City Walk of Fame to celebrate and enshrine his many contributions to the creative music community that makes Nashville so special.”

Thomas Rhett’s career has produced 25 No. 1 hits over the past decade, along with 16 billion streams, eight ACM Awards, two CMA Awards, five Grammy nominations and several additional honors from the CMT Music Awards, Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards. He has also earned five CMA Triple Play Awards for writing three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period.

His latest project, About A Woman (Deluxe), expands the album to 25 songs and includes the No. 1 singles “Beautiful As You,” “After All The Bars Are Closed” and “Ain’t A Bad Life” featuring Jordan Davis. The deluxe album also features collaborations with Lanie Gardner, Blake Shelton, Teddy Swims and Tucker Wetmore.

In addition to his headlining The Soundtrack of Life Tour, Rhett has remained busy with several high-profile performances and releases. Earlier this year, he teamed with Marshmello on “Where We Go” and released a new version of “Georgia On My Mind” as part of ESPN’s official campaign for the 2026 Masters Tournament. He is also appearing with Morgan Wallen on the Still The Problem Tour and is set to return to the U.K. for a three-night run at Wembley Stadium with Luke Combs.

The public is invited to attend Thomas Rhett’s Music City Walk of Fame induction ceremony on July 8.

The Music City Walk of Fame was created in 2006 and is located along Nashville’s Music Mile, a roughly one-mile stretch connecting downtown Nashville to Music Row. Inductees are honored with permanent sidewalk medallions displayed in a star design.
