Ashley Cooke will revisit the places that helped shape her life during a special series of acoustic performances celebrating the release of her sophomore album.

The country singer has announced the cities that made me tour, presented by Surfside, beginning Aug. 14 - the same day her self-titled album, ashley cooke, arrives. The weeklong run will include intimate performances, fan meet-and-greets, and exclusive merchandise.

Each stop represents a city connected to Cooke’s childhood, family, or adult life.

“This album was built on the memories and moments that shaped me into who I am, and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend release week than taking a trip down memory lane with you,” Cooke shared on social media. “Each of these cities have impacted my life growing up in different eras and are truly the fabric of my tapestry so far - I want you guys to become part of it.”

The tour begins in Cooke’s current hometown of Nashville, where she will visit several local spots on the album’s release day. Additional details about the Nashville events will be announced later.

Cooke will then travel to Milwaukee, where she was born, followed by Pleasanton and Studio City, two California cities connected to her youth. The tour will continue through Parkland and Sarasota, Florida, before concluding Aug. 22 in West Lafayette, Indiana, where Cooke’s parents met.

Ashley Cooke’s New Album Arrives Aug. 14

The 15-track ashley cooke explores the relationships, mistakes and personal discoveries Cooke experienced as her country music career began to take off.

The album includes “famous to frances” and “johnny ’n june,” both produced by Dann Huff, as well as Cooke’s current country radio single, “baby blues.” The latter previously reached No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown.

Other previously released songs featured on the project include “the hell you are,” “high school sweetheart” and “xs.” Cooke collaborated with songwriters including Liz Rose, Lori McKenna, Ashley Gorley, Hillary Lindsey, and JP Saxe while creating the album.

The project follows Cooke’s 2023 debut album, shot in the dark, which included her first country radio No. 1, “your place,” and the Gold-certified “never til now.”

Following the cities that made me tour, Cooke will launch her baby blues world tour Sept. 17 at Globe Iron in Cleveland. The 28-date headlining tour will travel throughout the United States and United Kingdom before concluding Feb. 25 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
