Koe Wetzel and Ella Langley have reunited for their new duet, “Jaded,” which was released August 6, 2026. The song marks the longtime friends’ first collaboration since “That’s Why We Fight” and brings the two artists back together four years after they first worked and toured together.

The release followed a week of fan speculation sparked by a Nashville billboard, a mysterious voicemail, and cryptic social media posts.

Written by Wetzel, Langley, Jordan Schmidt, and ERNEST, “Jaded” centers on a conversation between two people still carrying the effects of past heartbreak. Wetzel brings his familiar raw storytelling to the track, while Langley adds another perspective as the two question how their past experiences have affected the way they approach relationships.

“Jaded” is the latest chapter in a musical partnership that dates back several years.

Wetzel said he and Langley had talked about working together again after recording “That’s Why We Fight,” while Langley has pointed to their long friendship and the time they spent touring together in 2022 as part of what made another collaboration meaningful.

“That’s Why We Fight” became a Gold-certified release and helped introduce the pairing to listeners earlier in their careers.

The collaboration arrives during busy stretches for both artists.

Langley has continued building on the success of her sophomore album, Dandelion, which debuted at No. 1 and includes “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her.”

Wetzel is supporting The Night Champion with his world tour. The album continues the mix of country, rock, grunge, and Texas influences that have become part of Wetzel’s sound.

Wetzel followed the album’s original 11 tracks with additional songs written and recorded during the same creative period. “Jaded” extends that run of new music while bringing one of his earlier collaborators back into the picture.

The Night Champion World Tour continues with dates across the United States, along with international shows. Shane Smith & The Saints, Ole 60, Wyatt Flores, Corey Kent, Wade Bowen, Bayker Blankenship, Kolby Cooper, and Logan Jahnke are among the artists scheduled to appear on select dates.
