After a week of fan speculation sparked by a Nashville billboard, a mysterious voicemail and cryptic social media posts, Koe Wetzel has revealed that his new single, “Jaded,” features Ella Langley.

The duet arrives Friday, Aug. 7, and marks the pair’s first collaboration since the Gold-certified “That’s Why We Fight.”

Written by Wetzel, Langley, Jordan Schmidt and ERNEST, “Jaded” centers on a conversation between two people carrying the effects of past heartbreak. Wetzel brings his signature raw storytelling to the track, while Langley’s vocals add another layer of vulnerability as they confront the question at the center of the song: “How’d you get so jaded?”

“Ella’s been one of my favorite people to write and sing with for a long time,” Wetzel said. “We recorded ‘That’s Why We Fight’ early on in both of our careers, and getting back in a room together was something we talked about every time we saw each other. When she sings, you believe it, and I’m excited we could get this one out there to the fans.”

Langley said their history together makes the new collaboration especially meaningful.

“Koe and I have known each other and been friends for a long time,” Langley said. “He was one of the first artists I ever got to collaborate with and one of the first I went out on the road with back in 2022. Getting to write and record another song together is special.”

The release comes during major career moments for both artists. Langley has continued to build on the success of her sophomore album, Dandelion, which debuted at No. 1 and includes the chart-topping “Choosin’ Texas” and the Platinum-certified “Be Her.”

Wetzel, meanwhile, is supporting his latest album, The Night Champion, with an extensive world tour. The project combines the country, rock, grunge and Texas influences that have helped him earn more than 6.6 billion global audio streams and 15 RIAA certifications.

Wetzel followed the album’s original 11 tracks with five additional songs written and recorded during the same creative period. “Jaded” continues that run of new music and offers another example of his genre-blending approach.

The Night Champion World Tour is currently traveling across the United States, Canada and Australia. Shane Smith & The Saints, Ole 60, Wyatt Flores, Corey Kent, Wade Bowen, Bayker Blankenship, Kolby Cooper and Logan Jahnke are scheduled to appear as support on select dates.

Tickets and additional information are available through Koe Wetzel’s official website.
