Grammy Museum “On the Red Carpet” Exhibit: Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and More

The Grammy Museum’s “On the Red Carpet” exhibit gives visitors an up-close look at memorable Grammy Awards fashion, including outfits worn by Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Amy Winehouse, and other artists.
Located on the museum’s third floor in downtown Los Angeles, the refreshed display brings together red carpet and performance looks from recent Grammy Awards along with pieces from the past. It offers visitors a closer look at the craftsmanship, styling, and personality behind outfits originally seen beneath the flash of red carpet cameras.
What’s Inside the Grammy Museum “On the Red Carpet” Exhibit
The exhibit goes beyond the garments. “On the Red Carpet” also features photographs by photojournalist Ron Galella, who documented Grammy arrivals and candid moments throughout the 1970s, ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s.
His photographs include artists such as Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, and NSYNC, providing a look back at celebrity fashion from several decades of Grammy history.
Fashion has long been part of the story surrounding the Grammy Awards. A red carpet look can become closely connected to a particular performance, album, or moment in an artist’s career. At the Grammy Museum, visitors have the chance to see those outfits beyond the photographs and television coverage that originally introduced them.
Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and More Grammy Fashion
Among the current highlights is Taylor Swift’s custom Vivienne Westwood red carpet dress and Casadei heels from the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in 2025.
The exhibit also features two looks from Sabrina Carpenter from the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in 2026: her custom Valentino red carpet gown and a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin performance outfit.
Other pieces currently featured include Billie Eilish’s HODAKOVA red carpet outfit, Doechii’s custom Thom Browne look, Addison Rae’s custom Michael Schmidt Studios performance ensemble, and Chappell Roan’s custom Zana Bayne performance outfit.
The display also reaches further into Grammy history with Amy Winehouse’s top, belt, and Tina Kalivas skirt from the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in 2008.

Make It Part of a Los Angeles Music Weekend
Located at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles, the Grammy Museum spans four floors and combines music artifacts with videos, interactive displays, and exhibits exploring music and Grammy history.
Plan enough time to explore beyond the “On the Red Carpet” gallery. The museum’s other exhibits explore artists, recording, performances, and different parts of music history, while its calendar also includes artist conversations, performances, and special programs.
The Grammy Museum currently lists “On the Red Carpet” as an ongoing exhibit, rather than giving it a specific closing date. Visitors planning a future trip should check the museum’s website for the latest exhibit information before visiting.

Location: Grammy Museum at L.A. Live, 800 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles
Hours: The museum is currently open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesday, open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
Admission: General adult admission is currently $22.50. Admission is $18 for seniors and military members, $15 for students, and free for visitors ages 17 and younger. Prices and operating hours may change, so visitors should confirm current information before their trip.
