Lainey Wilson will trade the stadium stage for the historic Ellis Theater when she performs two special fundraiser shows in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

The performances are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Proceeds from both shows will benefit the completion of Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music, a country music museum, performing arts center, and educational organization based in downtown Philadelphia.

“Lainey Wilson is a vibrant performer who is blazing through the country music world today,” said Marty Stuart, a Grammy-winning Country Music Hall of Fame member and founder of the Congress of Country Music. “She’s authentic, she’s fearless, and she has become a touchstone figure to so many of her fans around the world. They trust Lainey with their hearts and their stories.”

The two acoustic performances will give fans a rare opportunity to hear Wilson’s songs in a historic theater setting, far removed from the arenas, stadiums, and festival stages she regularly plays.

Wilson is a Grammy Award winner, Grand Ole Opry member, and 12-time CMA Award winner whose No. 1 singles include “Heart Like a Truck,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” and “4x4xU.” Her recent milestones also include headlining the Stagecoach music festival, releasing the deluxe edition of Whirlwind, and joining Chris Stapleton for a run of stadium shows.

The Ellis Theater regularly hosts major artists while offering audiences an up-close concert experience in the heart of downtown Philadelphia.

“Bringing an artist of Lainey’s caliber to the Ellis Theater continues our commitment to creating unforgettable musical moments in Philadelphia,” Stuart said. “There’s something special about hearing great songs in the Ellis Theater.”

How to Get Tickets

Tickets for Lainey Wilson’s Ellis Theater performances go on sale Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. Additional information will be available through the Ellis Theater’s official website.
