Miranda Lambert will be the first artist to take the stage at Nashville’s newest live music venue, The Truth.

The three-time Grammy Award winner will headline “Miranda Lambert: One Night Only” on Thursday, October 1, marking the official opening night of the new 4,400-capacity venue in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood.

The full-set performance will feature songs from throughout Lambert’s career along with select tracks from her upcoming album, Crisco, which arrives the following day, October 2, via MCA.

Adding another element unique to the Nashville show, Lambert will perform with a 12-piece string section, expanding on sounds she explored while recording the new album.

Miranda Lambert Brings a 12-Piece String Section to The Truth

While Lambert has performed countless shows throughout her career, the October 1 concert will offer something fans have not previously seen from one of her full live sets.

The addition of a 12-piece string section was inspired by the arrangements used while recording Crisco, and Lambert says she is looking forward to bringing that sound to the stage.

“It was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record, and I can’t wait to bring that to life in an even bigger way with our full setlist,” Lambert shared. “We’ve never gotten to play that way on stage, and to have the opportunity to do it for the first time at the opening of a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville is going to be really special.”

The show will combine Lambert’s catalog of award-winning hits with an advance look at material from the new project.

Early releases from the project include “Sunset Marquis,” “Till The Going’s Gone,” the title track, and “A Song To Sing,” her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Chris Stapleton.
